Day 26 of 102, Part 2

Rarely do I write two blogs for one day. However, the Captain’s party for World Cruise passengers tonight was one worth documenting with illustrations. A splendid buffet was laid out, complete with illuminated ice carvings outside on Deck 12. A full moon shone in a pristine dark sky to add to the ambience. There was enough on offer to do away with dinner. A very small band provided appropriate background music. Captain Hall addressed the gathering. All too soon, this elaborate buffet was being whisked away. And yes, we did adjourn for a smaller dinner than usual. Chocolate coated strawberries reminded me of pre diabetic days, and for once, I succumbed to the temptation of such luxury, far more memorable than the caviar, which was also on offer.
