Blog 168.  Day 4. Awakening.

View from my bed.  Wednesday 7th January c 08.30 hrs

Yesterday might not have started brilliantly, and most of the day, dogged with the effects of feeling unwell.  Nevertheless, I made the effort in the evening, donning my formal black attire for the first of (I believe) eight gala nights, some “themed.”  Last night was “Black and White.” and the discomforts of the day morphed into one of joy and celebration, pre-dinner drinks with my table colleagues, a fine steak meal, a spectacular musical show in the Royal Court Theatre,

and after dinner drinks while watching ballroom dancing in the Queens Room.

Queens Room, decks 2 and 3 mishaps.

I just managed 10,000 steps during the day, and retiring for the night early this morning, slept “for England” waking up to the magnificent seascape outside, fully rejuvenated. I  shall get up now and enjoy Day 4 of this journey to the Caribbean.

Our position at 09.10 hrs this morning.

Many thanks for reading,
