This certainly feels like the “home run.”
Outside, there’s a bit of a sea mist, and most people seem to be remaining indoors. Few are wearing shorts and t-shirts!
I attended Dr. Stephen Payne’s second presentation on the fascinating subject of Airships, past, present, and, believe it or not, future. Apparently, Spain is about to launch a passenger airship service to the Canary Islands, a vastly “greener” alternative to flying.
KENDIS GIBSON journalist and T.V. presenter/interviewer delivered a candid and sometimes amusing account of his career, and a behind the scenes glimpse of some of his high profile encounters including with the late Queen Elizabeth II. While aimed at an American audience, his talked proved interesting, amusing, and entertaining for most of us across the Pond. A few did walk out mid-show. He is worth looking up on YouTube or elsewhere.
At midday, the ship’s clocks were advanced another hour. We are just two hours behind Harpur Hill.
I have little to write about. Nevertheless, I am enjoying this not overly warm day at sea.
The late afternoon was taken up responding to e-mails snd various messages.
