This really is the last full day of freedom.  Tomorrow, (actually, it’s later today) much of the day will be taken up with the dreaded paccking of which I have already made a good start.  Also tomorrow, Fr. Michael and Emily will be joining me for a final lunch at Steakhouse at the Verandah, with hopefully the entire table celebrating the very last dinner in the Britannia Restaurant at 8.30 pm

Back to today; Church early this morning in Illuminations. I got to read from the Book of the prophet Isaiah.   I spent much of the previous late evening acquainting myself with the passage and a following prayer.  I enjoyed a long chat over coffee with Fr. Michael before lunch and a rare afternoon and dinner with Emily. 

I tried for another early night, but failed miserably!  Never mind. Much of the packing is complete.
